When Will Be UGC NET  June 2020 Conducted

The current coronavirus outbreak is the biggest challenge for the entire world. Due to its highly contagious nature, it's difficult to stop this disease from spreading. Because of this, NTA has postponed all examinations, including the UGC NET Exam 2020.

Are the conditions suitable for conducting an exam?

With the rise in the Coronavirus cases, the possibility of conducting an exam is very less. However, the current lockdown has reduced the number of cases very drastically. But once the lockdown is over, the infection won't stop and would rise swiftly. Scientists at IISc Bangalore, India, and TIFR have predicted a second wave of Coronavirus infection during the monsoon season (June-August). The US-based Center for Disease Dynamics, Economic, and Policy (CDDEP) has predicted that the cases of coronavirus infection in India could go up to 25 Lakhs by the end of September, even with a strict lockdown.

When will everything go back to normal?

The only way things can get back to normal is if we can develop a vaccine for the Coronavirus and if most people build immunity against the disease. But the development of vaccines alone would not make everything normal. Post-development, there are problems with production and logistics, which would take more than a year to complete. Currently, FDA has predicted that a vaccine will be available in 12-18 months. Current research by the World Health Organization suggests that recovering from Coronavirus infection doesn't make a person immune from Coronavirus.  Thus, we are currently out of choices.

Which exams will be conducted first?

Since NTA conducts all the National level exams, the exams that were scheduled first will be conducted first. NEET & JEE Mains & Advanced will be held early in case the lockdown is over, followed by UGC & CSIR exams. This will further delay the exam.

When will be UGC NET 2020 conducted?

  • Keeping all things in mind, we predict that the UGC NET 2020 examination may be conducted in September 2020. No one can foretell the exact date of exams, but keeping everything under consideration, we predict exams will be hampered by at least 2-3 months gap.

Please note, that is our prediction, and not any official word from NTA or UGC.

How are we dealing with the pandemic

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus Crisis, we have increased our team strength, and new scholars (our students who qualified JRF last year) have joined the team, and we are currently updating our material. The material is divided into a three-level course that would cover basics followed by advanced levels. The last part would link the concepts with previous year questions asked by UGC, and there will be CCQ (Conceptual Clarity Questions) that would help in understanding how UGC/NTA asks questions from different topics (or how we can formulate questions). And at the end of each chapter, there will be last 17 years of solved question papers asked by UGC/NTA from those topics. You can find more Here
